Elizabeth was born and raised in rural Maine, but moved to Alaska at the first opportunity she got. She completed her undergraduate studies in political science at the University of Alaska Anchorage. After graduating from UAA, Elizabeth moved back to Maine and completed her law degree at the University of Maine School of Law. Elizabeth served on her law school’s Moot Court and Trial Competition teams and received the Faculty Award for Trial Advocacy for her performance in advocacy courses.
Elizabeth returned to Anchorage immediately after completing her law degree and began working as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alaska in the Alcohol Interdiction Unit. As an Assistant Attorney General, Elizabeth was tasked with enforcing and prosecuting Title 4 crimes, which required her to travel across the State for grand juries, evidentiary hearings and trials.
Elizabeth has since found her place in civil practice and enjoys the complexity of civil litigation. While her area of emphasis is litigation, Elizabeth continues to work with commercial entities to meet their business needs and goals.
When Elizabeth is not in the office, she is undoubtedly somewhere in the mountains. As an avid snowboarder and mountain biker, Elizabeth enjoys exploring the endless opportunities that Alaska has to offer outdoor enthusiasts like herself.
