Peter is a life-long Alaskan who brings practical Alaska business experience to the firm. Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law, Peter owned and operated an aviation flight service and then a publishing company.

As a commercial pilot, Peter traveled Alaska and understands the challenges faced by Alaska businesses. Today his business practice focuses on healthcare, business formation, and commercial real estate.

As a healthcare attorney, Peter serves as outside general counsel to numerous clinics and physician groups across the state. In this role he advises clients on state and federal regulation of the industry, STARK, HIPAA, professional liability, professional employment agreements, employer responsibility and healthcare service agreements.

Peter’s commercial practice emphasizes business entity formation, business valuation, business buyout disputes, asset sales, mergers, acquisitions and intellectual property protection. Peter’s litigation practice focuses on commercial disputes,  insurance coverage and professional liability defense.

Peter is a member of numerous aviation and veteran support organizations.  Peter and his wife are the proud parents of two children.
