Mona came to Alaska with her husband Joel in 1985.  They said they were going to give it a year and see what happened.  That was many, many years ago.  They are proud parents to two wonderful sons and the proud grandparents of four grandchildren.  Mona has been working as a legal secretary/legal assistant since the late 1980s.  In her free time she enjoys gardening and quilting, but most of all spending time with her family.
